About Blue Aster

Blue Aster Bakery is a microbakery based in Hudson Valley. We make rustic baked goods with a twist. We are inspired by the fruits and vegetables available at the farmers’ market, along with the grains, dairy, and other specialty products found within New York state.

You can find Blue Aster baked goods at farmers’ and craft markets, popups, and other events. Blue Aster sablés are available in select Hudson Valley stores. Or order a cake for your next special occasion!

About the baker

Hi! I'm Erin and I'm a pastry chef based in Kingston, New York. I graduated from the Pastry and Baking Arts program at the Institute of Culinary Education in 2023 and worked part-time at a bakery in Brooklyn. Blue Aster Bakery is my first venture into turning my passion for baking into a business. This will be an iterative process that will hopefully lead to achieving my lifelong dream: running my own brick-and-mortar bakery.
